We have lots of opportunities for young people and adults to get involved in our work and hopefully create new opportunities for themselves at the same time.
We welcome volunteers and aim to ensure they feel welcome and confident to share their skills and enthusiasm to make our project even better!
We have developed a set of volunteer roles which describe the different opportunities we offer, what tasks each role involves and how we will offer support.
These include the roles of:
Ambassador (for clients using the project)
Supporters for fund-raising and events
Technical support assistants
Membership of our Project Advisory Group (open to clients and people already working either within, or in partnership with, the project)
We want to offer opportunities that are interesting and rewarding, so if there is something that you would like to contribute that we haven't considered, please feel free to chat to us informally at any time.
Because our services are delivered to young people and adults with additional needs, our volunteers are required to have DBS checks undertaken and to adhere to our requirements for support and supervision as well as our policies and procedures, particularly Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults and also our commitment to Equal Opportunities.
Thank you for supporting our work.
